Bon tardi,
My name is Wick van Ierssel, I am 20 years old and come from Beek en Donk, in Noord-Brabant. I am currently in my third year of studying Real Estate at Fontys Hogeschool in Eindhoven. I am lucky to be able to work for my internship on this beautiful island, where I enjoy sun, sea and challenging work in real estate every day.
From study to practice
During my internship, I mainly work in the sales department. This means that I get to deal with many different aspects of brokerage. For example, I accompany viewings and intake interviews, where I get the chance to see how our brokers present homes and advise potential buyers. I also prepare sale agreements and help with appraisals. This mix of administrative work and client contact gives me a good idea of what is involved in selling real estate
I also hae permission to be creative from time to time. For example, I help record videos for the properties and I am responsible for the distribution of our magazines. This makes my days varied and dynamic and I am constantly learning new things.
Enjoying the island
Besides my work, I love exploring the island in my free time. Snorkeling in the sea and sailing along the beautiful coastline are at the top of my list of favorite activities. It's special to experience the beautiful nature and relax completely for a while.
